Got smoked in a PATH post-earnings straddle on Friday as it traded in the tightest range it has ever traded following ER, classic. Also got burnt on an outright put buy on GERN, which was up +75%. Typically has paid off fading large postive gap-up moves in the name, but not Friday. The GERN trade being a complete bust doesn't ruffle my feathers nearly as much as the PATH trade, that one is just downright frustrating. My VZIO position was called away, but that was just a small layup of a trade. I may look to enter a similar position in the name.
Earnings season essentially slows to a crawl this week with only a handful of decent names reporting. We're also looking at 33 days until April opex.
