People talking about AAPL's largest close-close gap up since the financial crisis in %tage terms. However, it only gapped 3.7 std. devs thanks to recent volatility. It's close-close gap back in May for its earnings was larger at over 6 std. devs. And to quote my buddy, "LAST TIME I CHECKED!", options were priced in standard deviations, not percentages, so I don't understand why anyone is particularly concerned about % moves.
