Monday 16 Dec 2019 Morning Notes

It's December monthly opex week, then heading into Christmas after that. The 2019 trading year is winding down. I read that Zoltan repo piece that was making headlines last week, somewhat intrigued to see if his prognostications prove prescient. I put on the Jan 140 straddle in JPM which captures earnings to bookend vol to some extent, should there be anything to Zoltan's piece.
